Financing

Helping you realize God's vision for your church also involves finding a good lending source and providing sound financial advice. We bring experience and expertise in the following areas:

  • Plan for stewardship/capital campaigns.
  • Provide financial information for Capital Campaign.
  • Develop a project budget and cash flow needs analysis.
  • Develop self-financing programs and interview lending institutions.
  • Maintain a working budget for expansion.

No two churches are alike. Yours will have unique financial needs.  Our consultants will project the building fund cash flow, before, during, and after construction. We can help pre-qualify your church for loans, negotiate the best terms from the lenders, and assist in the preparation of the extensive documentation required for a commercial loan. CharestCorp works from your budget backwards so that you design and build according to what you can practically afford.

On average, lenders prefer a 30% debt capacity based on your annual tithes and offerings to determine how much you can borrow for construction. You will be required to provide a brief church history, financial statements for at least the last three months, copy of insurance policy, property appraisals (not always required at the beginning) and more.

CharestCorp’s seminars typically include a stewardship and financial element which help prepare you to meet with a lender and/or stewardship consultant. You will leave our seminars fully aware of your financial options to complete your project.

We can also help determine the equity and collateral position of your church’s assets. CharestCorp brings tested financial wisdom to your church to protect and guide you through the process.

28"For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it? 29Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who observe it begin to ridicule him,30 saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.'” (Luke 14:28-30)

The Lord implies that it's common sense to have a good financial plan before you begin to build. CharestCorp will prepare a sound financial structure to support the anticipated costs, before you begin to build. You are invited to call Certified Church Consultants Rene M. Charest or Alisa Manjarrez to discuss your church's Capital Campaign plans. (559) 291-0776.
